Our goal is to highlight some of these wonderful movies and their stars by bringing the films to life. National Velvet, The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, Play Misty for Me, One-Eyed Jacks, A Summer Place, and a host of other movie classics have brought the gorgeous scenery of the Monterey Peninsula to the silver screen. Even in the early days of Hollywood, starlets and dashing leading men were familiar with this popular vacation spot and jumped on the chance to make movies here.
